Hott Recruiters, a premiere sports management company brings the noise again at one of its annual football combines. The powerhouse sports company signed four athletes to pro contracts. The combine took place in Gainesville, Florida on Nov. 17, 2007. The combine was composed of athletes that were specifically invited as well as being open to the public. Hott Recruiters, a marketing and managing firm, prides itself on the ability to promote athletes and allow them the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
Started in 1999 by Sam Carter and William Johnson, Hott Recruiters gives athletes a chance at what they love to do on the next level. “We give every athlete the `chance of living their dreams. Most companies only want the top rated players, we believe there is a team for everyone, and we are willing to take the time and energy to develop our players and enable them to achieve success at a higher level.” Say’s Johnson, Senior Vice President. The company markets and manages athletes and facilitates the combines to test speed, strength and ability. They also provide performance films that afford athletes exposure and the opportunity to be evaluated by scouts.
Lonnie King, Johnell Brown, Joseph Williams, and Mario Neal were among the four athletes signed by the Sioux City Bandits, an arena team based out of Iowa. Johnell Brown has been a client of Hott Recruiters for two years and credits a lot of his success to Hott recruiters. Twenty-four year old, Brown stopped playing football at the age of fifteen because of a car accident. “They told me I would never be able to run again. Hott Recruiters helped me access my name when other reps wouldn’t give me a chance” says Brown, who runs an impressive 4.3 in the forty yard dash.
Hands down, the company makes it happen with what would appear to be the most unlikely athletes. Most agencies accept players with college statistics and experience but Hott Recruiters have a proven track record with an assortment of players. Newly signed, Nineteen year old, Lonnie King dropped out of high school to take care of his mother and siblings and college was not an option. With very little experience except for high school he came out to the combine and was signed. Every player with the right management can be an asset to a team. Johnell Brown and Lonnie King are not the only ones singing their praises. Pro Prospect, Anthony White, feels Hott Recruiters is a force to be reckoned with. White went to Santa Fe Community College but did not play football however this didn’t stop his professional career, “I remember asking them about workout drills for my position and how to prepare, and the next day I received 25 pages of information regarding the topic”. They focus more on quality and not quantity, and we receive a lot of one on one attention”.
The combines facilitated by Hott Recruiters are successful and afford opportunities for aspiring athletes. This sports management company is the answer to some players’ dreams.
