Im not going to point out any teams, coaches, or fans but, I have been involved with a team, that got off to a good start, but managed to get to 3-7 at one point.. Fans were frustrated, yelling at each other, etc. Then a coach or someone was like "we are the best 3-7 team in the league" I mean, i dont get that.. who cares if u can beat another 3-7 team in the league, that just means u are the better horrible team our of all the horrible teams. Some how from that statement, it became ok to be 3-7.. I dont get it, I guess im from a different breed of football. It has bothered me for some time now, just never said anything. In pro football, 3-7 is not acceptable, peopel get fired for being 3-7. High school, yeah, to be the best 3-7 out there, means u can easily go to playoffs, and beat a bad play off teams, cause sometimes in high school, only 2 teams in district, the 2 teams make playoffs..
What do you all think, is 3-7 acceptable? I dont think so, not for a pro team.
